If you're not a part of Squidoo then you probably have no clue what I'm talking about! For those of us that are crazy about it will understand what I mean by getting into the top 100! It means that out of over 1 millions lens -about half of that are WIP- mine is in the top 100! Can't get enough of saying that. I also got a purple star! Pretty sweet.

Twilight Silly Bandz has put me through so much to get it there. It didn't even begin as anything related to Twilight until I saw some bandz that were vampire and werewolf related. I thought to myself omgoodness Twilight Silly Bandz! I was so excited and put that keyword in and boom traffic. It was such a great feeling to have so much traffic and sales! Lots and lots of sales. I have over 100 sales on my lens. They aren't high dollar amount sales, but it's better than nothing! It's amazing what can be done when you try.

Well an update to my silly bandz lens. It was sold to a nice gentleman. I sold it and another one of my silly bandz lens. Not gonna go into the price, but it was pretty nice!

I made a lens talking about my awesome Wilton cooling rack that I had bought. It's the Wilton Excelle Elite 3 Tier Cooling Rack. Yes it sounds like so much awesomeness. Basically it's a cooling rack that stacks up to 3 cooling racks. You don't have to use all 3, but you can. Also it takes up less space than a regular cooling rack. I'm using mine mostly for making Pita bread, but it's great for cookies.

New Lego Games Have Arrived.

Most of us know the brand Lego. I have two young children and they love building with their Lego blocks. They haven't gotten into the more advanced building sets since they are still pretty young. When I see the sets they have out now I'm just amazed at how far Lego has come. What really got my attention recently is the new board games they have come out with. It sounds far fetched, but yes Lego has come out with some pretty cool looking games.

My son really wants the LEGO Monster 4 Game since he's a big fan of spiders and there's a huge spider in the game. He's a bit nuts about spiders unlike me. Though I am a fan of monsters so I guess it works out for both of us. If you want to learn more about Monster 4 then check out .

The game of choice for me is LEGO Minotaurus. I'm a fan of Greek mythology and it kind of reminds me of the book series Percy Jackson and the Olympianswhich has a movie based on the first book. Well the Minotaur and the Labyrinth parts of the book. It looks like a pretty fun game plus you can customize it so no two games have to be the same. Some Of My Newest Lenses.

I haven't been able to update in a bit due to family illness. Nothing serious, but when you have two children things just don't always go well. All three of us have been ill and I'm hoping that we can get over the hill and get better soon.

One of my newest lenses is Kindle Wireless Reading Device (6" Display, Global Wireless, Latest Generation). This is one of the most popular e book readers out there. It uses E-ink to ease the strain on our eyes while reading. We all know how much fun reading can be when our eyes are burnt out. Here's the link to my Kindle lens.

Another lens of mine is about the Apple Ipad. I'm a fan of Apple and it's technology. This is like a huge Ipod touch in my eyes which is a good thing since I like screens to be bigger. So be sure to take a peek at my new Apple Ipad lens.

My other lens is about Manic Panic Hair Dye. I love the stuff and made a lens all about it. I am a fan of the reds and blues. My favorite is Vampire Red. So stop by and check them out.

January Is My Official Goth Month.

Well I'm going to be making my own months here. It'll still be the normal months, but I'll be celebrating different themes. Right now it's Goth month. I just got my awesome goth prints from zazzle and I need some frames to hang them up. I also bought two goth calendars and I'm so very excited.

I still plan on showcasing once a week, but I just haven't got the time just yet. I'm having to make plans on what I'm going to be doing each day. Unfortunately there's not enough time in the day to get each one done.

I've been pretty busy. I just got my Angel wings on Squidoo. It's going to be rough for a few months while I'll be volunteering there and working on blogs, my own brand new website and taking care of my kids.

My newest Blog is at Squidoo Angel Kharadriisa. This will be my promote others blog. I still plan on doing some here, but I have to take my time and spread it evenly.

It was a great Christmas, but I'm ready to get on with my life. I have to work hard to finish up my squidoo lenses. I'm trying to hit giant there and I need a few more quality lenses to make it. I probably won't, but if not I have 3 more months to try. This will be a great achievement for me and I'm just excited to try.

I also hope to work more on here. After the New Year I'll be posting about one artist per week. I've already got my first one picked. I've bought some of her prints and I can't wait to get them. After I get past trying for Giant I'll be working on more promotion ideas.

My Recipe Lenses.

I've been working hard on a recipe lens tonight. I just now got it finished. Phew that was hard work. It was easier to make the food. Well here it is. Best Chicken Quesadilla Recipe

I just love quesadillas and love to make them. I use a dutch oven method of cooking the chicken to make it super fall off the split breast bone. Btw I also have another recipe lens up that I enjoyed making and eating. Check it out. Best Enchilada Recipe

Yeah I think highly of my recipes, but I've been cooking them for years and slowly perfecting them. You can use these recipes as a starting point and make them your own by adding ingredients that you like. For example if you like yours a little spicy then add some chopped up Jalapenos and you have something that's yours. So give my recipes a shot and see if they are for you.

I've been meaning to post pictures of my zazzle buys! I've had them for a while and took pictures, but I've been so busy lately that I forgot to post them. I am going to be scanning my post cards since I'm not that great at photography.

It may look different, but it's an awesome binder. I just love the weird and unique.

I've also ordered 4 mugs, but only going to show one on here since the other 3 have pictures of my children on them. Just not interested in putting my children's pictures online. Will be posting a picture up as soon as I get it. Very excited about getting it. I have so many plans for that mug.

Well I hope to chat more I've got to get busy making lenses. I'll definitely be working more here once I get my goals done before the New Year. Thanks for reading!

A little clarification about Squidoo and Zazzle.

I've been watching a post on Squidoo about the zazzle rating manipulations that are going on. Most people probably don't know that what they are doing is against the TOS of Squidoo. There's quite a few threads at the zazzle forum that are all about getting favorited and rated. This is called rating exchanges. You're not suppose to go around asking people to do this. You can get banned from Squidoo for doing this.

Why are they doing this? Well because it's believed that if you get a added as a favorite or get a rating on your lens then the lens rank will go up. No one knows 100% what makes that rank go up. Asking people to do these things is ratings manipulation and Squidoo doesn't want people doing this. It's unfair to the people who are honest and not breaking the TOS.

Another reason why people are doing this is that the lensmasters are telling the artists that they will sell more items this way. Well that's not true. The lensmaster will be getting paid more while the artists will most likely get nothing. Google is the main breadwinner when it comes to getting people to buy your work. You need it to bring buyers. Google doesn't care what lens rank you have. It only cares about your content. So if you're a lensmaster will a bunch of stuff pasted on your lens then most likely Google will ignore you page. It may not happen right away, but eventually all that hard work will be for nothing.

All I ask is that you read the TOS thoroughly and ask someone at Squidu.com whether or not this is ok before you go risking your account over a few dollars. Keep Squidoo clean and the money will come.

Star in your own teen vampire romance novel!

I came across something with so much awesomeness. A customizable romance novel with vampires. When I read a book I'm usually immersed into the story so far that it feels like I am there. Now I've found a book that can put me there. It's called Personalized Vampire Romance Novel for Teens - First Bite. Kind of a mouthful, but the main title is First Bite. Sounds sexy to me.

This is aimed at teens, but if you love Twilight then this book is something that may interest you. I personally loved The Twilight Saga. This book is definitely on my Christmas wish list. I have been thinking about this for a while now. The artists at Zazzle and the Lensmasters at Squidoo should work together more. It does happen, but not enough. This is a great money maker if we put ourselves together. I put my efforts in both places. I promote other people's work. Do I get anything out of it? If I work at it I do. No one pays me to personally do this. This is what I want to do and if I earn something then that's great.

I had an idea after making a purchase at Zazzle. I had found an item that I promised myself I would buy. I wanted it really bad and now I'm just waiting on it to arrive. After I get it and find a use for it then I'll take photos and share them with my readers here and on Squidoo. This is an item that I bought for my own personal use. I didn't buy it to earn anything talking about it.

I bought something I made at Zazzle also. I bought it for my mother. It's a part of something that she loves and I figured it was her Birthday soon so I can get her something unique. I'll be posting pictures of those items that I got also. Yes I can promote myself.

So what I'm planning on doing is spending a portion of the profits I get promoting other sellers and buying items from sellers that have an item that I just have to buy. Then I'll be promoting the items by taking pictures and posting them on here and Squidoo. Think about it this way. People will be more inclined to buy something if the one promoting it feels good enough about the product to buy it. I don't like the idea of showing off products that I know nothing about. This is about trust. Plus I now have a reason to buy some pretty cool items.

So let's work together and promote the sellers on Zazzle and let them help promote us.

Ever have a deer in the headlights moment?

I sat there staring at the loud glow of my computer screen after clicking on my Zazzle earnings. I couldn't believe that I had actually earned money without even being an artist. I couldn't sell my designs if someone paid me. And yes doing Zazzle to sell designs would have paid me if I were any good.

I first started out at Squidoo doing pages featuring Zazzle designs. I had seen a page where a woman had featured alot of them and they looked great on her page. I thought I could do that. Turns out I can. I didn't expect to really make any money doing it since I had no clue what SEO was or how to really make money doing this. Want to see an example or 3 of what I'm talking about? Then keep reading. I'll list them below.

I am seriously into vampires and I wanted something that I could have fun doing. So I made a lens about Vampire Keds. Sounds weird right? Well Zazzle lets the artists create designs that fit on Keds shoes. How cool is that? So I searched through the designs and picked out quite a bit that I liked and created a lens about them.

Another lens I did was Unique Recipe Binders. I was getting the hang of the Zazzle and Squidoo lenses. I had learned to separate them as I got the links ready. This saved me a lot time and hassle. You can't believe how much time I had lost before this.

There is more, but you get the point. I have finally made money from Squidoo. It was a small goal that will eventually lead to bigger ones.

I was working on a page at Squidoo and I saw something at Zazzle. It was a beautiful Christmas Gift Tag. What is a Gift tag you say? Well you remember when wrapping up a present for Christmas and putting a paper card on it to say who goes to? Well that's what a Christmas Gift Tag is.

It's Christmas Time Once Again.

I can't believe that Christmas is almost here. Every year it seems to come at me faster. I have two children and I want them to have everything that they want, but obviously I can't buy out a whole store and say here you go kids. I do have a plan this year that's slowly coming together.

I made a Christmas Wish List on Squidoo. I put together a list of things they wanted and I could afford. I really want them to have a hand held game system. I may even have to get my son one early since he's going to a different state this year for Christmas and needs entertainment for the 10 hour drive.

My goal was to buy all of the items at Amazon. I just love that place with it's free shipping and no tax so it was the number 1 choice. I have bought a few presents that weren't from them, but that's because of a really good sale.

So after putting up the page there I am waiting on some royalties to come my way. Nothing yet, but I can still earn money from having the page up. I may not be able to get all the items for the kids, but earning a little on the side will definitely will help ease the pain of Christmas.

This is about my lens that's really hopping around right now. It's called Twilight Moms Merchandise Store. Yes that's a mouthful. I will be working on it more as I journey through Squidoo

I'm a huge fan of the Twilight Saga and I am a mom. Though my children are only little ones I am still considering myself a Twilight Mom. I'm also a twilighter. A very excited and can't wait to see New Moon twilighter. I have to admit that I'm totally going to see it for Jacob Black. I can't help it. I wasn't a big fan of the book until I saw more previews of the movie. Yes I have read all four books. Yes I've heard of Midnight Sun. I even have an Eclipse special edition hardback book.

Is Squidoo A Scam?

Short answer is NO! People do get paid by using Squidoo to make pages. They don't get rich quick, but if you work at it you can rake in some serious dough. By dough I mean MONEY! A lens sparked this post and I'd like to give a shoutout to it so please check it out. Is Squidoo a scam

Ways to make money with Squidoo. You can earn money by promoting amazon and ebay products. Squidoo pays people to make "modules" that include amazon listings. They do the same for Ebay. What is a module? Well it's a gadget that Squidoo has which takes what you want to showcase and it makes affiliate links for you. You have the item, price and description all set up for you. It's an easy way to earn a percentage of what people buy from your page. Right now the amazon percentage is around 4.25% of each order. I'm not 100% sure on the ebay percentages since they changed their affiliate campaign. More on that later. When you use the modules you are splitting the revenue with Squidoo. You still get a good commission like the 4.25% with amazon.

Another way to make money from Squidoo is by using your own affiliate links. One example is if you're signed up with an Amazon affiliate account. The pros to using this one is that you get the full commission instead of splitting with Squidoo. But the cons with amazon is the amount of items you sell. With Squidoo it's one account and they get a higher commission that works out to be a bit more for you if you don't have a high volume of sales. The base rate for amazon is 4% so you have a chance at making more from using the modules.

A second example of making money with affiliate links is the Allposters affiliate sign up. If you use their sign up you can feature their posters on your lens and earn affiliate money. They pay 20% of each sale to you. This is your affiliate links and Squidoo doesn't take half. Below is a poster that I picked out to show you what I'm talking about.

I have been hooked by Squidoo. It's an online community for people to write pages on things that interest them. Seth Godin who is a marketing genius created this site and it's just booming! They pay people based on their lensrank which is pretty cool in my book. Most of my lenses are in the third tier so I won't be getting a big piece of the pie, but I'm a new squid and things will change very soon.

The point of this blog is to showcase my own lenses -that's what they're called- and to also talk about other lenses that I like. See I'm a nice person :)
